Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) Treatments in Westport, MA

Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) is applied to the teeth and used to stop the progression of cavities in children. It is usually applied to children's teeth while they await treatment in our in-office Operating Room Suite. Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) does cause some discoloration of the tooth, however, in most cases, these areas will either be restored with a white, tooth-colored filling or a surgical-grade Stainless Steel Crown.
